Take & Make Community Service Kits for Teens in Grades 6-12
Completion of a Take & Make Kit = 1 hour service credit. Teens can do each project kit a maximum of two times. Each project submission must be unique, meaning no repeat content is submitted for the same project. Spring kits will be available to pick up at the Library each Friday, while supplies last.

Looking for other ways to volunteer? Here are some ideas . . .
Volunteer at the Hauppauge Public Library
The Hauppauge Public Library greatly appreciates anyone willing to give the gift of their time. Download, print and complete the teen volunteer application or the adult volunteer application at home and drop it off at the library, or stop in and pick up a copy. Also, please view our volunteer handbook for our guidelines and policies regarding volunteers.
Teens, don’t forget you can always ask at the children’s reference desk for a list of the current season’s already scheduled volunteer opportunities at the library.
