Looking for ways to volunteer? Here are some ideas…
Looking to volunteer in the community? The Hauppauge Public Library greatly appreciates anyone willing to give the gift of their time. Download, print and complete the teen volunteer application or the adult volunteer application at home and drop it off at the library, or stop in and pick up a copy. Also, please view our volunteer handbook for our guidelines and policies regarding volunteers.
Teens, don’t forget you can always ask at the children’s reference desk for a list of the current season’s already scheduled volunteer opportunities at the library.
We are currently offering virtual volunteer opportunities. Please click here:
Take & Make Community Service Kits (while supplies last)
For the Take & Make Kits, each teen can do each project a maximum of two times. The Bowtie Collars project is the only exception — this project is only one project per teen.
