Hauppauge Public Library loves our volunteers!

When you create a volunteer profile on Galaxy Digital, you can sign up for volunteer events and virtual projects and keep track of your community service hours.

Note: If you are under the age of 13, the system will prompt your parent/caregiver to fill out a parental consent form in order to have an account and use the software. If you are a volunteer over the age of 18, a background check conducted by the Hauppauge Library will be required.

If you are attending a volunteer opportunity or completing a virtual volunteer project to fulfill a specific requirement for school or another organization, please check with your teacher or advisor to make sure they will accept the community service hours.
