Summer 2023 Newsletter

The weather is warming up and summer 2023 is just about here! We’re excited to take you on our Summer Road Trip Reading Club and kick off another year of our Fridays Out Front series. Registration begins Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 9:00am for Hauppauge Library cardholders, and Saturday, June 10, 2023 for out-of-district guests. […]

Help Fix Stuff

This summer, the library is planning to host it’s first Repair Cafe, an all-ages, do-it-together, activity where people bring broken household items and learn how to repair them instead of sending them to the landfill. If you’d like to help your neighbors fix their broken stuff, please fill out this form.

Pet Food and Toy Drive

The library is collecting donations for dogs and cats in local animal shelters through June 3, 2023. Bags of new and unopened dog and cat food, canned food, treats, cat litter and new toys are welcome.

Chat With Us!

Get answers to your questions through real-time chat with library staff on our website, or text us at 631-488-0008. Available during library hours.

National Library Week April 23-29, 2023

This year’s theme “There’s More to the Story” celebrates everything libraries have to offer from the traditional to the unique.  Join us this week for a cooperative tabletop storytelling class, a murder mystery party, a creature creator lab, as well as storytime and a book discussion.
