Our annual Writing Contest for students in the Hauppauge School District is being held in our schools right now. The theme of the contest is: “Breaking Down Barriers”. Details are available through the school district or here. The contest is open to students from first grade to eighth grade. There are prizes awarded for the different grade levels. As in the past, the Friends will provide the prizes, which will be presented on Saturday, April 4 at 10 am.
