Library Awarded Construction Aid from NY State Education Department

The New York State Education Department has awarded the Hauppauge Public Library $270,000 in construction aid for our new location, 1373 Veterans Memorial Highway. “This funding will be used to increase the services offered for our guests at 1373 Veterans Highway, especially in the area of technology,” says Matthew Bollerman, CEO of the Hauppauge Public Library. He went on to say “The new computers, furniture and other items will be installed in late 2018 and early 2019.” The Hauppauge Public Library would like to thank New York State Senator Thomas Croci and Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick for their help in making sure the library construction aid program is part of the State budget.
