The Friends of the Hauppauge Library and the Hauppauge School District are excited to announce the writing contest, themed “Rights and Responsibilities in History.” Students attending schools in the Hauppauge School District and those attending private or parochial schools served by Hauppauge Public Library in grades 1-8 are invited to submit a story, essay, poem or story board (comic strip) on the theme. Entries must be submitted via Google Classroom by March 10. Complete details can be found here.
